CONNECTICUT SOCIETY OF DECORATIVE PAINTERS (CSDP) is located in East Lyme, Connecticut. General membership meetings are held on the first Tuesday of every month at 7:00PM, unless otherwise noted. At this meeting there is a workshop or seminar pertaining to the decorative arts.

Throughout the year seminars, $5.00 classes, and paint-ins take place. We have a membership drive meeting held in October called the “October Tea” which is always fun. This event is a non painting night, involving a program of fun, food, and laughs.

We also have an auction in the Spring that consists of all hand crafted items, a wonderful holiday party, and paint-ins.

Our goal is to educate people in the arts, particularly decorative/tole painting. There is always an event “in the works” to keep this group very active.

Directions to the CSDP Meetings:

Northbound on Rte 95 – Exit 73, Society Road Exit, turn left and travel 6/10 of a mile to a stop sign. Turn left and travel 1/10 of a mile, make a left, and an immediate left to the E. Lyme Library & Community Center.

Southbound on Rte 95 – Exit 74, Flanders Road Exit, turn right and travel 9/10 of a mile to traffic light & turn right. Travel 2/10 of a mile past school and turn right to E. Lyme Library & Community Center.

Guests are welcome to attend 2 meetings before deciding to join. A yearly membership to this fun filled art group is $15.00.
